In consultation with the FRUCOM President Mr. Olivier Hottlet, further to the doodle consultation and SAVE THE DATE, we are pleased to announce the upcoming FRUCOM in-person events.
The venue: The entire event will be held at the Thon hotel EU, rue de la Loi 75.

The participants will discuss the import trade, nutrition and sustainability: state of play, in-depth coverage of the topical issues, Q&A with speakers.
The provisional agendas are attached. We already have the confirmations from Frans Verstraete on contaminants and from Tim Gumbel, Deputy Head of Unit, on increased controls and conditions for re-export of non-complaint products (Art 66 and 67 of official controls). We are waiting for confirmation from FoodDrink Europe on mineral oils (Mosh/Moah). We will also be covering pesticides, organics and trade.
We also have received the confirmation from the speakers from FoodDrinkEurope and Eufic, the EU Food Information Council, on product reformulation and developments which will affect nutrition in the future.
For sustainability labelling and Eco-Score, Veerle Poppe Sustainability Strategist and EIT lead, Colruyt Group, is also confirmed. We are inviting the representative from the Agribalyse consortium/INRAE, on sustainability methodology and a speaker from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment on the product environmental footprint.
