The EU published an initiative regarding methods of analysis for official checks as laid down in Commission Regulation No 2073/2005. This initiative establishes the analytical methods that may be used by Member State competent authorities when they check the implementation by food business operators of rules laid down in Commission Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005 on microbiological criteria for foodstuffs.
