Official Journal: Notice on provisional application of the Mercosur agreement from 1 May 2026

On 15 April, the Notice concerning the provisional application of the Interim Agreement on Trade between the European Union, of the one part, and the Common Market of the South, the Argentine Republic, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Paraguay and the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, of the other part [2026/868] was published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

It states that the Agreement will be provisionally applied as from 1 May 2026 between the European Union, on the one part, and the Argentine Republic, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Paraguay and the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, on the other part, respectively.
