Highlights of the International Peanut Forum 2022
9 MAY 2022On 27-29 of April we participated in International Peanut Forum (IPF) 2022. IPF provides an opportunity to learn from farmers, shellers, exporters, brokers, dealers, manufacturers and service suppliers from around the world. The IPF theme for 2022 is 'From Inspiration to Innovation' with the conference program covering key areas of interest to all segments of the peanut supply chain, including research updates, market trends and new product development and the all important supply and demand panels.
Some of the topics discussed were: The latest research on health benefits of peanuts and related key drivers of consumption; Can Market Agitators Increase Category Sales; Managing delivery and logistic risks, innovation, exploring sustainability drivers; How Brands and Retailers are Using the Latest Product Innovations to Drive Peanut Sales; and Who’s in the Driver’s Seat on Sustainability?
All discussions of the conference highlighted the nutritional benefits of peanuts, innovation and challenges in imports.
